• Prof. Toyoko Imae was invited as a keynote lecturer in an International Conference on Recent Innovations in Nano-Bio-Polymer-Pharmaceutical Technologies (ICRINT-2013), which was held at Nanded, India on January 13 – 14, 2013.

 

• Yakub Fam and Dang Minh Nhut got their Master’s degree and graduated on January 31, 2013.

 

• Dr. Adhimoorthy Prasannan left our laboratory on February 4, 2013.

• Dr. Saravanan Chinnusamy left our laboratory on April 2, 2013.

• Prof. Toyoko Imae lectured in Chang Gung University on March 26, 2013.

• Evan (李安湘) joined in our group on March 14, 2013.

• Dr. Yusuke Yamauchi (World Premier International (WPI) Research Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA), National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS)) visited us and lectured on April 8, 2013. Lecture title: Functional Nanoporous Materials: Synthesis and Practical Applications

• Prof. Toyoko Imae visited and lectured in NIMS, Japan, on May 15-16, 2013.

• We enjoyed group dinner on May 23, 2013.

 

• Prof. Lip Yong Chung, Prof. Lik Voon Kiew and Ms. Siaw Hui Kiew in University of Malaya visited us on June 7 and 8, 2013.

 

• There was a graduation ceremony on June 8, 2013.

• Prof. Toyoko Imae joined in International Dendrimer Symposium (IDS-8) in Madrid, Spain and gave an invited talk.

   

• There were oral examination of master thesis for Faiza, Frank, Kid, Mahmoud, Marina, Patricia on July 8 and 9.

 

• Prof. Toyoko Imae joined in The 1^st International Conference of Smart Systems Engineering (SmaSys 2013) in Yonezawa, Japan, and gave a keynote lecture.

• There was oral defense of master thesis for Yun on July 24.

 

• We had a one-day group trip on July 25.

• Reta and Peter joined in our group on August 1^st, 2013.

• Niki, Grace and Eddy joined on September 1^st, 2013.

• Prof. Ujihara’s birthday party on September 24^th, 2013.

• Dr. Balu Krishnakumar, Kiran B M and Bendi Ramaraju left our laboratory on September 30, 2013.
• ASAM-4 was held in NTUST on October 22-25, 2013.

• We had a Group dinner party on October 30, 2013.

• Faculty members of Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology had one-day hiking in Xindian on November 15, 2013.

• Prof. Imae gave a plenary lecture in 5^th ACCIS conference in Darjeeling, India on November 20-23, 2013.

• Prof. Imae visited University of Malaya and discussed collaboration work on December 1-5, 2013.

• Prof. Imae and Kinjal joined on ICIN-NANO 2013, Nadiad, India. Prof. Imae gave a key note talk and Kinjal presented oral and poster.

• We had a New Year party on December 26, 2013

• Dr. Reddy left on December 31, 2013.

• Jack had an oral presentation on January 17, 2014.

• Prof. Imae visited University of Malaya on January 19-25, 2014.
